- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual lessons are $25, packaged lessons at intervals of a month, quarter(3 months), semester(6 months) and year(12 months) are at reduced rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is an evaluation to understand the student's ability so appropriate and mutual goals can be set. Technical and musical abilities are addressed from the first and often second or third lesson before repertoire is chosen. I ask all students pick music they enjoy to sing because it makes them want to practice; guidance is given if something may be too difficult. I also assign repertoire that is appropriately challenging.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, have sung in local and regional concerts, have music directed community productions, assistant music directed collegiate productions. I have taught many youth classes and given workshops on varying aspects of performing and singing. I have been teaching privately for 7 years.
