Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Regency Trio performs for weddings, parties and other life events. We also teach all levels and ages of violin and viola students. Continue developing skills with private music instruction. We have highly experienced teachers of violin, and viola. Lessons are held in Eden Prairie or remotely and may be scheduled during the day or evening hours. String students can study via the Suzuki or traditional method. I prefer the Suzuki method for younger students, 5-7 years of age. It is wonderful to work with students of all ages and watch their delight in learning new skills.

My daughter takes classes with Prairie Music, and she is in her second year for a once a week lesson program. Yet she is able to play fluently almost all the song in the Suzuki book. She can also play songs she heard on TV and at church by herself without the written notes and she is only 7. The teachers are really committed to help each individual student become a great musician. They encouraged my daughter every time she is struggling with a song. The thing I liked the most is how patient the teachers are with the kids. I recommend Prairie Music to anyone who would like to learn how to play piano, flute, piccolo, violin, viola and cello.

Elaine has been teaching my son for about 4 years now and she is so patient with him. He likes going to piano lessons with her every week and has made steady progress.

I frequently take my grandchildren to their music lessons with Dr Barbara Lamb. Dr Lamb has a vast knowledge of music and of different instruments. My grandson has improved greatly under Dr Lamb’s tutelage, both as a school teacher and leader of The Fabulous Fiddlers through fourth grade and as a private teacher. He is now able to read music in both treble and bass clefs and the tone when he plays has improved greatly. She includes vocabulary slowly, as in the musical signs and terms for tempo, etc. She gently guides him into making improvements in his stroking and incorporates interesting bits of information about the music he is playing. When it is obvious he hasn’t practiced enough she doesn’t chide but instead tells him how and why the music would sound better if he were able to spend more time playing. He enjoys the fact that in addition to the standard teaching books she will coach him on music he brings in, Star Wars themes in particular. When he brought in his recorder and played a piece for her she complimented his playing and also gave hints on fingering and breath technique. She is very patient and when my grandson starts rambling about other things she listens and gently guides him back to the topic. She instilled a love of music in both children and I enjoy hearing them sing when they are in the shower. My grandson says he would give Dr Lamb a 5-star rating, adding that she is nice, patient and she knows a lot. He was very disappointed when she left his school and the Fabulous Fiddlers program was dropped. It had taught him discipline and had prompted him to work harder on improving his cello skills. He is looking forward to continuing cello as he moves on to middle school. My granddaughter has had to drop lessons temporarily due to school responsibilities but she also enjoyed her lessons and progressed well. She hopes to be able to continue guitar lessons in the future.
