Very responsive and great to work with. We were quite pleased with over 100 headshots he took for us at a very reasonable price.Nov 5, 2018Verified
Daniel was great! I hired him to do a family photo at my mother and father's house. He punctual, professional, pleasant and patient. He showed great attention to detail to get lighting and posing just right. There were seventeen of us, so it couldn't have been easy.Oct 29, 2018Verified
Loved the images and Daniel did an outstanding job and went above and beyond. Would definitely rehire if given the opportunity.Jul 26, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Daniel J. Smith Photography LLC has a standard pricing system.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know my customers. It makes the process a lot more exciting when you make the effort to know the people you are working with. I'm in business to make money of course, but to also build decent working relationships with my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received a GradCert in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography, and a Diploma in The Craft and Business of Commercial Photography from the Lamarr Williamson School of Photography. I've received training and education through Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Professional Photographers of South Carolina, and National Press Photographers Association since 2009. As a student at Pennsylvania State University I worked for the college newspaper publication called The Behrend Beacon. I was a Photo Editor and Photojournalist Supervisor for three years at the newspaper. I did photography, video, page layouts, and I had my own feature page called the "Photo Review" page. In addition to that I managed a staff of photographers and wrote articles. I created a Multimedia Department within the newspaper's operations for the first time ever in the newspapers history of over 50 years. I worked for some other companies over the years: Freelance Photographer at Rodale for two years doing commercial work of local athletes; Photographer and Video Content Creator at Pennsylvania State University for two years; Photojournalist at the Erie Times-News for eight months doing Street View photography before I left on a military deployment for several months.
