- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do charge a travel fee of $.50 per mile from my location. I also run specials during certain times of the year so ask about those!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would prefer to schedule a call or meet in person if possible. I then discuss what the client is looking for. I'm pretty straight up about the pricing and will give breakdowns so you know exactly what you're paying for. If we reach an agreement on price I require a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total cost for portrait sessions but for weddings I break the total cost down into three payments with the first being the non-refundable retainer. This can be paid with a check or over PayPal, which is up to the customer's discretion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-trained but I have been working in this field for almost three years now and it is my full-time job so I'm constantly working on having happy and satisfied customers!
