- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending on the services requested and distance traveled to and from the job site. Acceptable forms of payment are Cash , Check, Credit Card, and Bank to Bank ACH deposit. All billing is done via email.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will go over your project and your budget, then help you to come up with a detailed plan which outlines the scope of work to be completed. During a project plans occasionally change. When these changes happen we will outline how these changes affect your budget, and propose options that will prevent your project from going over budget. We pride ourselves on coming up with creative solutions to the unexpected and unforeseen costs that occasionally arise.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a child in a military family, we moved frequently. My parents were always searching for a fixer-upper in a good neighborhood to renovate before we had to move again. As my father neared his retirement, our family began a woodworking business making custom cottage signs for the homes in the outer banks. As an adult I lived out west and learned the art of timber frame building. Many of those skills transferred into renovating historic homes in Elizabeth City NC.
