FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based off of the scope of work to be done on the job. We don't have hidden fees or anything like that. After an initial estimate is done, the only time the pricing changes is if the customer adds things on or if we get in there and there's something wrong that wasn't originally seen or could not be seen and needs to be fixed. Then, the customer will be notified and shown the issue. We will work together to remedy the problem. Custom design floors, custom painting jobs, such as designs or specific free-handed style painting, does have a higher cost due to the custom side of things. All pricing will be discussed upfront and pricing will not be changed without the customer being notified first.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the remodeling business for 17 years. In this line of work there are certificates and classes we have took to help teach us the correct ways to do the work, but on the job training gave us the education and experience we needed to do this type of work. So with my 17 years of on the job training, we are experts in most fields of the job and would have the equivalent to a Master's degree in building and remodeling thanks to all the on-the-job training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing remodeling work after I came home from the Military. The attention to detail needed for this line of work was exactly what I needed and I love making people happy.
