Introduction: I am a John Maxwell certified speaker, a trainer and a coach. My only agenda is your growth and success. I focus on adding value to the lives of others by helping them grow. I had the opportunity to hear Joe speak at the 2015 IDSA conference. I found Joe to be very inspiring to start a leadership program at my own school. He was exactly the speaker I was looking for, because not only did he elaborate on his great program, but he offered a multitude of resources to be able to start your own program. Better yet, there were no gimmicks, or "If you want to know more just purchase this"...he just offered the help and guidance for free! Joe was also very helpful in following up on questions that I had asked on the exit form, and did this is a very timely matter. I would recommend Joe Bush as a speaker to anyone seeking out information on student motivated leading through service programs.

I have been meeting with Joe Bush for close to four years now, but I've known him for longer. It didn't start off as a formal mentor program. He is an ex teacher and a friend, which really works for me because of how organic that is. We have remained in contact after all these years. When he transitioned into Leading Through Service, it just made sense with the relationship we already established. It's easy. We grab coffee and meet for an hour at a time. We spend a lot of time going over the professional realms of my life. We talk about where I see myself. Joe believes in people and their dreams. He has always seen something in me even when I have doubted myself. He asks the right questions. He gets you thinking about your levels of comfort and where you want to be in your life. Ultimately it is up for the individual to decide, but he helps plants the seeds. I enjoy reading his articles. He offers practical advice about day to day life. Topics include spending quality time with your loved ones, putting down the phone, and letting go of those who have the potential of hindering personal growth. He is also quite receptive to feedback. I told him once he had to work on being more vulnerable with those he reaches out to and connects with. And he has been working to do this and it shows in our interaction together.

Not-your-average-Joe Bush is 5 stars all day everyday. The saying "actions speak louder than words" has been echoed in some form or another for centuries. The premise of that phrase is pretty straightforward. Although ideas and words have great power they pale in comparison to the physical reality of DOING. When people die, we talk about the things they did, not the things they talked about doing. Great men and women can only become such by overcoming the limitations of their environments AND themselves. Great men and women can only become such by BELIEVING in themselves and in the process of their lives' work. Great men and women can only become such by DOING. Joe Bush lives his life to be the best HIM that he can be and through the historically proven method of simply sharing ideas and leading by example he teaches others to strive to become all that they can be.

Joe recently came and led a workshop for our Youth Leaders (ages 12-18) on "Dealing with Different Personality Types." As usual, he came fully prepared with a plenty of visual aids and props to engage the youth the entire time. It was not a boring lecture, but rather an interactive experience where the youth gained valuable life lessons. His energy and passion is contagious. Joe is the best!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Speaking prices vary depending on travel distance, length of the speech and topic. Typically they range from $1000-$2000.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In terms of public speaking, each client will receive a free 30 minute consultation to discuss the goals and topics of the speech. My goal is always to customize the presentation to suite the needs of the client. There will never be a canned speech that I have given before. Once an agreement is made, I will create an outline of the speech weeks in advance for the customer to review. From there, changes can be made. On the day of the speech, I will arrive early, meet the some members of the audience and then deliver the speech.

I am a John Maxwell Certified, trainer, coach and speaker. In addition, I have given various speeches on the topics of personal growth, finding purpose, goal setting, and leadership. I have also been an educator for over fifteen years and currently teach a leadership class which focuses on leadership, personal development and growth.
