Bruce is amazing. He responded very quickly to my inquiry and met me at a client's that week. He gave me a lot of information and was very flexible in his style. Unfortunately, my client's have put their project on hold for now but I will ABSOLUTELY be reaching out to Bruce when it picks back up and for other projects.

I would recommend Bruce to future clients. He came out to meet me the very next day. He waisted no time. Bruce was punctual, showed up right on the button. And to my amazement he went to the city to inform himself on the house right before he showed up. By doing this he also found out more about the house, zoning, and additional requirements that I needed. Bruce was a professional, very pleasant to talk to, and very educated in his feild. You can tell he loves his work. I give Bruce a 5 star.

Bruce is absolutely wonderful to work with. Not only is he amazing at his job but he is a pleasure to work out all the details with. His drawings for our 800 Ft addition to our home were perfect and I feel lucky to have found him!!

I contacted Bolinger Design regarding previous owners non-permitted work on my house. Bruce went out of his way to ensure a complete set of plans were made, to include all previous changes since original build. Additionally Bruce worked with the planning and permits department to ensure the process went smoothly. Bruce went a step further and coordinated repairs and construction necessary to bring the house into compliance with the engineering firm of my choice. Bruce walked me through the process each step of the way, and answered questions completely when I was unsure of what was involved. I can't say enough how attentive Bruce was to my needs to complete this project that would have been overwhelming to me on my own. I would recommend Bolinger Design to anyone in need of an architect dealing with non-permitted work or otherwise.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For your first appointment there is no charge, cost, or obligation. This allows me to examine the existing structure, style of architecture, foundation design, roof design and provides a general overview of the dwelling. This also provides time, at the site, to discuss your ideas and needs while allowing me to suggest additional design concepts based on code requirements. If this is a new home design I would suggest we met at the new property site to discuss view lines and dwelling location. Once the research and initial appointment is complete, I will develop a proposal based upon your specific project design requirements. As a rule, you will receive a proposal within 3-5 working days after our appointment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I meet a client and walk through their scope of work to better understand their design requirements, type of architecture, foundations and existing setbacks dimensions. This allows me the information I need to research the feasibility and additional requirements of the city/county.
