Robert did an excellent job with my kitchen upgrades. He found some very cool retro cabinets that matched the design and era of my home, and were much more affordable than new ones. He also updated a tricky corner area that required removing a window, moving a door, adding a back patio and repairing damage that had been caused by a leak. He has great vision, excellent craftsmanship, and helps to find creative and affordable solutions to unique or complicated issues. I look forward to working with him on my next project!Jan 8, 2019
This contractor did not show up at our arranged meeting time and never contacted me to explain his failure to keep our appointment. I tried to phone him but his mailbox was full. Corresponding with him through Thumbtack was a complete waste of my time. Update: This contractor got back to me a month later saying he had been in an accident and out of work for the past month, which is why he did not keep our appointment.Sep 18, 2018Verified
We hired Rob for a seismic retrofit for the EBB rebate. He was really easy to work with and always very friendly. He delivered exactly what was asked for on schedule and within the agreed budget. His pricing was also very competitive. We are very satisfied with the results and currently working with him on getting a quote for a fence project.Jun 9, 2018Verified
I hired RT Design and Build to repair some dry rot in my garage, and bolt the structure to the foundation. It wasn't a big job so it took a bit of time to schedule, but that is expected. Robert gave me a clear bid, showed up as scheduled with qualified staff, and finished the project to my satisfaction. As can happen on a project like this, other damage was identified as the parts of the structure were uncovered, and Robert kept me appraised and was easy to work with. I would hire RT Design and Build again.Aug 8, 2018Verified
