I had the best experience learning how to surf with Torrey from Chix on Stix. I was a little nervous before my lesson given that I've never surfed before. After meeting Torrey and practicing pop ups I was excited to get into the water. She was super patient and a great instructor. After a few failed attempts I was able to stand up and ride some waves. It was a great experience and a phenomenal workout. I workout pretty regularly and I have to say it was best workout I've ever had. My favorite thing is that I not only have proof that I surfed but have great shots of such a memorable experience. Torrey is a not only a fantastic instructor but a phenomenon photographer!

Chix on stix rocks!!!!!! Had an amazing learning experience with Tori!!! The surf/yoga session was extreamly spiritual to say the least! Definitely will be back and recommend this to anyone whose looking to learn how to surf and have a super good time with awesome ladies! Thanks agains guys!!!

Torrey is a great instructor. She gives off a very calming vibe, something that I find helpful for a beginner like myself. What keeps me coming back to the Sunday meetups is the support system from both Torrey and the rest of the group - I look forward to it every weekend!
