FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to steer away from time constraints and hourly rates. When it comes to ceremonies, the last thing that should be on any mind is watching the clock. Creating an overall package for the entirety of the ceremony from beginning to end is stress-free and keeps the music going as long as it takes to keep everyone in the moment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out more about the couple. Who they are, where they are from and what life is like for them. This may not directly relate to the songs I will play, but it creates a comfortability and an understanding that is important when being a part of such a personal time in their lives.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up in a smaller city in upstate New York, I was always performing around town. I would often be approached about upcoming weddings and events in town. Over time, instead of performing traditional wedding standards, couples began requesting acoustic renditions of their favorite songs. From Guns and Roses to Jason Mraz, creating a stripped down version suited for a beautiful ceremony provides something unique and personal.
