Positive feeling right from first meeting. A willingness to see my vision and replicate it. Great work ethic, prompt, clean, patient low key additude giving a feel if comfort. Worked around my needs. Not pushy does main work himself and is nit selling someone elses work. Committed to a happy customer outcome. Very impressed already referred him to 4 friends. As an Architect I demand perfecrion this was a no hassle project. Would tell everyone give him the opportunity to see what he can do, no regrets aggravation or miscommunication I give him a 6 star rating.Jun 9, 2017Verified
All I want to say is "WOW" Dominic is highly professional, and very talented. For once there is a contractor that does what was promised, on time, and for the agreed price....how refreshing. I had the tired oak kitchen and now I have the modern look of a model home. I was very surprised at how inexpensive it was as compared to replacing the cabinets. I would recommend villa Di Stefano to anyone.Sep 7, 2016
Dominic Stefano turned my kitchen cabinets from boring wood to glowing elegant color that still makes me happy every time I walk into the kitchen. And he did it with such speed & convenience that I couldn't believe was possible. He was a pleasure to have in my house, so much so that I kept looking around the house to find other work for him.Aug 25, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Cabinet refinishing/finishing prices depend on the complexity of the finish, we typically charge $100.00 per linear foot of cabinets with a $1,000.00 minimum project price. Mural and faux finishing prices are figured by size and complexity of the work. We can do bold and simple or complex photo realistic work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We have bid and color/finish meeting with our clients, then we like to do a free sample on one of the cabinet doors for approval before we begin the entire project. This ensures the comfort of the client and gives us an approved and signed off sample to work from. This is the same process for our mural and faux finishing work including a meeting, a bid, a sample and the rendering of the artwork.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a member of the MPI, Master painters Institute. I apprenticed with a master mural/faux finishing/furniture finisher for two years before starting my company in 1985, and I have been finishing and refinishing cabinets, painting murals and doing faux finishing projects ever since. It is amazing to me that over 30 years of providing these services has gone by and I still love what I do.
