- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will allow you time to tell me about your likes, dislikes, concerns and what brought you to counseling. We will develop goals together and devise a treatment plan to help you achieve the most out of each session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have numerous years of professional experience in working with individuals from all ages, walks of life, cultures and economic backgrounds. I have a undergraduate degree in Social Work with a cognate in Addictions Counseling along with my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. I have attended numerous trainings on emotional regulatory healing, suicidal and self destructive behaviors, anxiety, depression and working with at risk children, adolescents and families.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed helping other people. In high school, I was the friend that would listen and help with friends in need of support. I have loved my career and enjoyed every place that I have worked.
