He removed an old light, fixed the issue, and installed the new light well under an hour. Great work!Jan 6, 2019Verified
Jason was very nice and came out immediately. He is a great handyman it seems. course makes it a more difficult project. Unfortunately, he is not a licensed electrician and requested electrical work to be done in our project. See below (electrical wiring fixed and additional switch installed), we have an older home so this of course makes it more difficult. He should have disclosed from the beginning that he is not licensed to do electrical work. That was the point of our project.Dec 29, 2017VerifiedHarden Remodel's reply
Alexandra Before I began any work, I told your husband I wasn't a licensed electrician. I responded to your request to install a light and replace a switch and fix the wiring at the switch. Well there was no switch there was no wiring from the light to a switch. The light was hardwired. None of the wiring is up to code. I told him that and I told him because I wasn't in a lot license electrician I didn't feel comfortable doing anything like that. I made the suggestion you get a licensed electrician. But he knew from the very beginning that I was not licensed. He continue to have me work for two and a half hours which included trying to find where all the wiring was connected up in your attic. I'm sorry the project isn't completed but I no way misrepresented myself
Jason was very accommodating and showed up even on a Sunday. He finished the project on time and was pleasant to deal with. Very much recommend.Sep 25, 2018Verified
