- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My areas of expertise in the arts include studio work in painting, drawing, textile arts, and a variety of media. I have years of experience teaching art classes (I used to be a middle school teacher!) and commercial illustration. I also create unique textile art pieces for home and office. My first step with a new client is asking detailed questions about their specific needs to make sure I deliver the product or service they are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in fiber arts and a post-Baccalaureate from the same school in painting and drawing. I also hold a Masters of Education in Middle School Education and an Illinois teaching license in Visual Arts.
