I'm hesitant to provide the review I want to share, because once Colorado Springs hears about Mike, he's going to get real popular and I won't have my most excellent contractor available 24/7! :)
We experienced a leak from what we believed to be the upstairs bathroom, as we had it remodeled last year and noticed that we were getting water intermittently in the basement.
I created my Thumbtack request, and Mike responded immediately and came out on SUNDAY. It didn't take him but 5 minutes to evaluate the situation and find the cause. Whoever had installed metal shelving in that part of the basement, punctured the drain coming from the upstairs bathroom.
Mike immediately went to Lowes, picked up what he needed to resolve the situation, installed and tested. Perfect.
After that little water debacle, I engaged Mike for further assistance with help under the kitchen sink which he resolved immediately, and then given his experience with carpentry and installation, I've hired him to not only replace my front storm door, but to refurbish/recreate my back deck.
Trust me. Don't hire Mike unless you want your situation resolved in short order with courtesy, respect and integrity.
In short, this guy is going to be real busy.

His dedication to the work had him fixing a drywall problem for me within 24 hours of being hired. His work for perfection included insuring proper paint and pattern matches. Mike was protective of the carpets using drop-clothes and ensuring no spills, He cleaned up thoroughly after himself, even leaving paint rollers and containers clean and ready to use again.
