- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge by the hour, with modification for the type of work being performed. Since I am both a technician and graphic artist, my pay structure varies according to the task. Flexible in situations of hardship, will help as able remotely at lesser charge to help a client get from point A to point B quickly and affordably.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking questions about the client, their work, their expectations for a successful outcome. Learning what equipment they already have, their experiences with previous technicians. Assessing if their style and mine are a good fit. Listening as well as I can to the client's needs, learning what I can do to contribute.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over twenty years joyful support with a wide range of clients. Former Apple and Microsoft staffer, ongoing interest and studies with the 'what's next' technology world. Constant review of new technologies, a love for the work and the people who utilize the equipment to create their genius!
