Rose has already been great to work with. Very receptive to what I'm looking for and willing to work with me.Jun 21, 2018Verified
Overall, not a great experience. Final design document was just a PDF collage and did not include furniture arrangement suggestions. The PDF apparently was repurposed from an old project and contained an element from that project in it. Bedroom furniture was suggested for the living room. Some pieces she "sourced" and suggested I buy were not even available for purchase. She knew I had cats, yet recommended I buy a plant that is toxic to animals. When I inquired about why there was no layout / floor plan visual in the final design document, she told me first that the measurements I provided were insufficient, but then later back tracked and denied I even expressed interest in having it (if I did not request the layout in the final design document, why would she ask me for the measurements of my room as well as the existing pieces of furniture that I intended to keep?). Would not rehire and would not recommend.Jan 24, 2017VerifiedRozanna R.'s reply
This client’s first reaction to the design presentation was, “Thanks for this -- So great! So many pieces I LOVE.” Ultimately, client’s dissatisfaction was a matter of miscommunication on both our parts, not with the design itself. Client was looking for furniture plans in addition to the design document. These were not included because client noted that she had all the dimensions so measurements were not needed. Client did send measurements but they were incomplete and unusable. Furniture plans cannot be accurately completed with incomplete information. Because I understood that client would take care of space planning, the Scope of Work and the Letter of Agreement, both reviewed/signed by client, had no mention of providing furniture plans. After client expressed her dissatisfaction, I offered to come back out to measure. I had hoped we could come to a mutually satisfactory conclusion but client cut off communication. At a later date I reached out again and offered to create a floor plan if client provided the complete and accurate dimensions. Client agreed. I spent several hours drafting the floor plan and provided various furniture layout options. I did this at no additional charge.. After submitting the plans, client never responded. I will take responsibility for my part of the miscommunication, but I acted in good faith and tried multiple times to resolve the disagreement. I stand by my work and handled this disagreement in a professional manner. I have had the pleasure of working with wonderful clients that have always been satisfied with their experience. Any issues that come up during the design process are dealt with in a timely fashion in an effort to work toward a solution.
I can't say enough good things about Rose, the quality of her work, and her professionalism. She helped guide me though a 2nd story addition both on the exterior and interior color choices. Rose brought the exact skills and design sense that I needed in order to bring the entire renovation together. I will be forever grateful to Rose and her amazing ability to choose the perfect color and material combinations as well as her obvious love of the design process!Jun 30, 2017
I was thrilled with Primrose Interior Design. I recently moved and was overwhelmed with the placement/lighting of my art collection as well as selecting new furniture that reflected my esthetic. Rose listened, found selections for me that I can't believe she found and did it on budget. I had so much fun working with Rose that I'm looking for other projects to bring to her.Jul 18, 2016
Primrose Interior Design did a wonderful job designing my new office layout using existing furniture and accessories but adding stylish new pieces which updated and brightened up the decor. It was tasteful, modern yet still a warm and inviting design. Rose Ramseur was patient, creative and a pleasure to work with.May 18, 2016
