I have known Lainey for the better part of 10 years and she is one of the most professional, kind, genuine people I know. Her photos first caught my eye when she was concentrating on abandoned houses...she somehow captured the aura of the building, bringing it to life and making you want to know the story. She takes the same care when photographing people. She has done several sessions for our family and each time the photos just get better...
Our last set of photos were taken in early December and I can't begin to describe how much they mean to my family. Just over a month after these photos were taken, my husband passed away. These are the last family photos we have and they are truly a blessing!!
As long as Lainey stays in northern VA, she will be our family photographer!

Lainey has taken family pictures for us many times over the past couple of years. She was actually there at my son's birth.. She captured the first few moments of his life beautifully. I will always cherish those pictures. She also did a newborn photoshoot for us and several mini family sessions, all of which produced beautiful, artistic images that we will treasure forever. OH, I forgot!! She did the most magical maternity shoot for us as well. She made me look AMAZING at 8 months pregnant!! She is a magician with the camera. Lainey also excellent with children. Her personal connection with my toddler son allows Lainey to take the most precious, open, smiley pictures of him. Lainey's artistic talent and overall professionalism, combined with her engaging personality and efficient work ethic, make her the best photographer you could ever wish to encounter.

I've known Lainey through a friend, so I knew she was a
wonderful and thoughtful person, but I hadn't had any professional experience with her prior
to having her photograph events for my wedding. She had such a knack for capturing the sweetest, most honest and unfiltered moments. She caught the beauty in everyone and the feelings just jump out of the picture. When I look at them I remember exactly the loving and natural vibe of the day and I'm very very happy with her work.

Lainey was my wedding photographer. My husband and I were THRILLED with how all of the photos turned out! They captured our special day perfectly. She used an online album that was really nice where we could view our pictures. Lainey is a gifted photographer and would be wonderful for any photographic event!

Lainey is by far one of the most talented photographers that I have ever encountered! For my trash-the-dress shoot, she attentively listened to exactly what I wanted and even offered props specific to my personality. She was endlessly patient with me throughout the shoot and provided clear direction with how I should pose. I received my pictures quickly and WOW are they stunning! She captured my dress, the scenery, and me beautifully, and I will cherish these pictures forever. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!
