FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is commensurate with other top-notch jazz pianists in the area, but the bonus is: you get professional-quality vocals too! If you don't have a piano at your venue, not to worry ~ I have a keyboard I can bring for a small fee. (And I always provide my own sound system, included in my fees).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out what your needs are, specifics about the booking, and am happy to share my input (when desired) about how the music can best support your event and make it a grand success!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied piano for 10 years, first with George Weller (professor at Concordia) and then advanced jazz theory with Harry Gilgam (adjunct professor at Marylhurst, Lewis & Clark). I've been singing since age 8 - as a boy soloist with adult choirs at age 9, then in vocal ensembles, stage productions, on radio, TV, studio sessions, etc. over the years.
