- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After intial contact I work up a quote that includes any special instructions or needs client has and then I try to accommodate any other issues that are mentioned including pricing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started doing small jobs for friends and family and it has led into much more after my work was shown to outside people.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do you have insurance? How soon can I expect you to be available for completing the project? Do you charge a percentage to all materials? How much money do I pay before project is started? Are there any times that you may go above original estimate price? These are all important and should be asked before hiring anyone.
