FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is definitely not a 'one price fits all' sticker when it comes to design services and associated costs ... the involved scope of work, project size, length of time expected, provisions developed, etc. all play a role in how the proposal is tailored. Typically, a 50/50 installment plan is utilized (and preferred) for most projects ... with a 50% deposit to retain and initiate all working production, and the remaining 50% due upon full, delivered completion. This method allows for every detail of the design work to be catered to, without charging for every hour that it takes. In essence, Mac DesignWorks believes in doing the job right - and that going above expectation shouldn't accrue extra costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Discuss all preliminary project planning... 2) Gather requests, parameters, and expectations. 3) Confirm the sought scope of work. 4) Begin conceptual design development! 5) Collaborate, then, calibrate (if necessary)... 6) Finalize all progress to-date. 7) Deliver the final design package! :)
