Hired on Thumbtack

Contracted to build horse fence. We reviewed several pictures offered from MBE of the fences they built and decided to go with a wood fence. During the build, I brought up the gapes on the fence planks to the contractor. I assumed that they would not be seen because of the facings from the picture of the wood fence we purchased. He informed me that we were getting NO facings. I contacted Master Build about this and was told that was not the fence we were getting but for extra money they could have it done. That was not what we had agreed too. Then I found that the post that was set in a 5 gallon bucket and buried in a low wet spot of the property, was only dug half way down and the rest covered with mud.The post leaned with the weight of the fence. After showing all these flaws on our new fence to Master Build, They did send a fresh crew out to make repairs. If you are not going to build the fence you pictured then make that clear to the customer. Since you did make the repairs to our fence I can't rate this poor but its close.
