Davis was very professional in his interactions. He came to give an estimate and recognized that the issue wasn’t as severe. Instead of trying to make a quick buck, he gave me his honest opinion. He even suggested some quick fixes that I could do myself and spent time explaining in detail. I had another issue unrelated to this and he even spent time thoroughly going over possible causes and solutions with me. Really appreciated his attitude, honesty and willingness to help.Jun 28, 2018Verified
Great communication and sugestions. Not done with work yet since there's so much to do and testing each step to make sure water run off works.Jul 26, 2017Verified
I am so happy with The Cracksmith! We had a waterproofing nightmare, right in the heart of the Arnold flood area, near Arnold City Park. Davis Smith was beyond helpful. Our basement is now usable thanks only to him! He remedied what other companies couldn't even figure out what to do with! I would highly suggest hiring The Cracksmith for any project, big or small. He went above and beyond anything we expected at a very fair price.Mar 11, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A single crack is typically $350 to repair. Price can vary based on wall preparation required and size of crack. Multiple cracks at the same home are discounted. My work is very clean and flush to the wall for easy finishing by the homeowner.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Customer usually call and describe their foundation or water problem. They text or email photos if available. I respond with an estimate and sometimes visit the home to give an exact proposal for the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a member of the Basement Health Association and have received Continuing Education credits at national certification events. I have repaired over a thousand basement cracks successfully.
