Introduction: Hi! I'm Heather! I am a self taught Missouri based freelance portrait photographer, I photograph a little bit of everything from tiny toes to musicians. I have a passion for travel and culture. Being able to mix my photography with traveling is everything to me. I have been into photography since I was 15 years old, it was just a thought in the early years and once I was able to get my first camera you couldn't stop me. Most of what you need to know about me you can find poured into my art. I don't have an extraordinary story, I just needed something to prove to myself that there was a possibility of a good life for me beyond the position I was in at the time and so here I am... I'm a Mother of 2 beautiful little girls, a traveler, lover of music and a very dedicated and passionate artist. If you ask what inspires me I'd say my daughters, beautiful places, the changing world, good meaningful music, driven people, + other creative minds. Everything. Second chances don't come often, you should take them when they are given. At at time when I needed it most I was given the motivation to transform such an extraordinary gift I didn't even know I had to see the beauty in anything, even the worst of things into something that has truly transformed and continues to transform my life in. I love happy clients and inspiring them to explore their artistic side to create art that lasts forever as an important memory in their lives and in their homes. I have always been really good at getting clients excited with new ideas and they even come up with creative ideas of their own that I have been lucky to put my artistic spin on.
