- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
E-Designs are billed by the space and paid before work begins. In person design consultations are $175.00 (example, exterior paint color consultation). Design fees after the consultation are billed at $75.00/hr or on a flat rate. All invoices are due on receipt and if payment is not received with 7 business days design services will end until payment is made, unless other billing terms are set with the client at their consultation or within their individual contract. Flat fee designs are paid 50% before services begin and the remainder 50% at the project completion (materials/furnishings and payment to subcontractors are due in full before ordering contractor work begins and are separate from designer fees).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client schedules a consultation, we meet at the space for services where I take measurements, photos, get to know the clients, and the desires for their space. After the consultation, a formal contract will be sent. After the contract signing, services begin with the initial design concept(s), once approved by the client then furnishings, materials/finishes are ordered and if needed subcontractors are hired. Once subcontractors have completed their work, installation of furnishings, artwork, and accessories is completed for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associates in Interior Design from Gwinnett Tech and Bachelor’s in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I am actively involved in continuing education and training through The Art Institute and other sources.
