FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and do project based pricing over hourly rate pricing. When I’m on the clock and paid by the hour, every minute spent thinking when a customer is watching the clock is added pressure. I like knowing I can take the time the job requires to complete. That way customer and I can get it done to their level of satisfaction without unknown bill at the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process is getting clear on the job and timing expectations they have of me. From timing coordination it comes down to making sure the client can rate me 5 stars before I leave and I do that by asking the question of them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had a handy father, a very good friend who taught me on my own projects and there is the university of YouTube.
