Megan did the make-up for my wedding. A friend of mine found her information on Thumbtack, and she was the first person to respond to her enquiries. I had no idea what I wanted for my bridal look, and Megan sent me some images that helped me to decide what I wanted. She was very prompt in responding to my messages. We first met during the trial at my friend’s house, where she took the time to really study the different tones of my face and neck to give me a look that was unique to my facial structure. I appreciated that very much, and the make-up came out beautifully. I was hesitant at first to use false eyelashes, because of my numerous allergies, which usually force me to rub my eyes constantly. Megan convinced me to try them out for the day, and they really felt very comfortable. I was grateful for that, since the pictures truly did come out better with them.
On the day of the wedding, Megan did my mother and my sister’s make-up as well. When we had previously chatted about the day’s schedule, she was willing to come earlier than we had originally planned to get an early start on the make-up. She was incredibly accommodating to our cramped schedule and was nice enough to start at the hotel room where we were staying, and then continue working at the salon where I got my hair done.
I really loved working with Megan. She is both professional and caring. What I appreciated the most was that she was willing to travel about an hour to come to Madison and do my make-up. She was on time and incredibly helpful, offering suggestions and really listening to my concerns and questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
