- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We book per event from 2 to 6 hours. If the “party can’t stop, won’t stop,” we can hang late for an hourly fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know how we can best provide our service and stay within the budget of our clients. We don't want either party to feel uncomfortable or shorted. We love what we do but at the same time, we have to pay the bills as well. We begin every new customer encounter by asking what their event is about and hearing more about the event before giving suggestions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are the mixture of Design meets Photography. Steven Lai, co-founder has been working with photographs since 2004. He began by purchasing his first canon DSLR and hasn't looked back. He specializes in engagement and wedding photography. He has a real knack capturing moments that are breathtaking and solidifying the love people have or the soul they carry inside in a picture. Recently he has transitioned to a film camera and has been using that as his medium of choice for photography. Luis Herrera, co-founder started in photography as an assistant to Mario Arenas who photographed events for universities and private schools. I worked with him for four years learning all I can about processing, composition, and optics. I then went on to work for a jewelry company in which I had to photography and touched up photos of models and jewelry for marketing.
