I asked Matt Dworak with Detailed Building Solutions to help me with a rental property remodel I was working on the summer of 2016. I asked for his help on several pieces of the project. He helped me get rid of an old solar heating system that I had a vengeance with, remodel and modernized a 1970's era bathroom that easily could have been a set piece on the "Brady Bunch" sitcom. As well, he was able to tile the front entrance mud room, and the thing that impressed me the most was a railing system he put in for me on the bi-level house. I gave him a picture and a general concept of what I was after, and he was able to customize exactly what I was looking for. He is one of those "Master of all trades" type guys, but his Carpentry and Finish Carpentry work is reminiscent of Bob Vila.
I had to listen to a lot of Dave Ramsey podcasts and country music while he worked, but other than that, he was easy to work with, fair priced, and really helped me out. As the value of the property increased more than 40k from the estimate prior to the remodel, and sold the first week on the market.

Matt from Detailed Building Solutions provided everything we had hoped for and more during our recent bathroom remodel. He made sure that there would be no surprises up front on details such as cost estimates and scheduling as well as potential hurdles we may encounter. He made every effort to keep any inconveniences of his work to a minimum and gave us the end result we had hoped for with minimal hassle. I would definitely recommend him to others considering hiring someone for such an undertaking.
