Loved working with Sarah from Homegrown Fitness. She took the time to ask about my current health status as well as my fitness goals before creating a personalized workout plan for me. The plan was very thorough, and easy to understand with illustrations for all exercises. She was also very quick to respond when I had a few questions.

Sarah really takes the time to understand what your personal goals are and tailors her training to your fit your fitness level, time, and individual preferences. I love that she creates a rounded program including nutritional advice that encourages healthy choices in both what you eat and what you do for the long term. Even while living in another state, working online with Sarah has kept me motivated to lose 10 pounds and even train for a 10k. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great personal trainer!

Sarah Hendricks was my trainer at the Bethesda, MD YMCA for more than a year. I am a senior citizen with many orthopedic issues. Sarah knew how to address these with exercises that were scaled to my age but always helping me to increase my strength and range of motion. She was very professional and also warm and engaging. It was a great loss when she moved from the area.

My husband and I had the good fortune to be connected to Sarah Hendricks when we needed a trainer for a variety of senior adult problems. We were in our late eighties , in basic good health. I had begun to have occasional falls and his posture was deteriorating. Sarah approached our issues with intelligence, a high level of skill and a pleasant and encouraging attitude. We both gained strength, balance and a connection to training strategies that serve us well. We recommend her highly .

Working with Sarah was fun, challenging and satisfying. She was concerned that we got a full body workout that was designed to build strength and also to aid function. She was very open to incorporating different exercises suggested by our physician and physical therapist. She gently pushed us to do a little more each time and watched us carefully to be sure we were doing each exercise correctly. We found that we got stronger, had better balance, and better form. She varied the routine and yet kept enough things the same each time so that we could work out on our own as well. We would give her our highest recommendation.
