- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $35 per 30 min. and $45 per 50 min. Lesson payment is always due at the time of scheduling. This is to ensure your lesson is reserved. I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. methods. In some cases where Andrew is travelling your residence, a gas charge may be discussed in addition.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson with your student will look a little different than others. I will begin with a hardware check where I will inspect your student's instrument and accessories to make sure everything is in working order. We will then play together where I will get the opportunity to figure out your student's strengths and areas of improvement. I typically reserve ten minutes at the end of the first lesson to meet with both you and the student to debrief about the hardware check and discuss what goals you would like to aim for from the lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having over 11 years of experience with multiple private instructors of my own, I am a very advanced saxophone player with experience with both jazz and classical settings. Graduated from Colorado State University in Music Education in Spring 2021, I am beginning my first job as the Associate Band Director at Fort Collins High School in Fall 2021.
