- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like conversations with my clients and potential clients. I listen to them to see what type of event they have in mind. I plan a menu based on that conversation; making sure to include multiple selections of entrees and accompaniments. Other points of discussion with prospective clients include suggestions about venues and serving methods. I usually have several conversations with a potential client in order to flesh out just what their perfect event will be. I also assist clients with selecting the proper equipment needed to put on the event including suggesting specific styles of seating, tables, and decorative items. I then contact my network of vendors to set up the necessary rentals on which I get discounts which I pass on to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have eight years of cooking experience and two years of specific experience in catering all types of events for both corporate and individual clients.
