The food was very good. The Pork Belly Roast was excellent, but too much fat for many guests. I would order a pork loin instead of the pork belly next time. The appetizers were great and the green beans and mashed were good too. The chocolate cake from Daddy Cakes bakery was to die for! They did forget the chicken tenders. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am flexible and I work with all budgets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like conversations with my clients and potential clients. I listen to them to see what type of event they have in mind. I plan a menu based on that conversation; making sure to include multiple selections of entrees and accompaniments. Other points of discussion with prospective clients include suggestions about venues and serving methods. I usually have several conversations with a potential client in order to flesh out just what their perfect event will be. I also assist clients with selecting the proper equipment needed to put on the event including suggesting specific styles of seating, tables, and decorative items. I then contact my network of vendors to set up the necessary rentals on which I get discounts which I pass on to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have eight years of cooking experience and two years of specific experience in catering all types of events for both corporate and individual clients.
