Introduction: I declutter and re-organize using a “Common Sense “ approach. By doing a project this way, it is so easy for my clients to keep their place organized forever. I prefer working alone so I can visualize how I can make the most use of your space. I only need your assistance at the end for those few items that don’t have a “place”. Packing/Unpacking: I am a meticulous packer! I organize your things as I’m packing them to ensure an easy, swift unpacking. I can also work with your movers and advise on the placement of furniture in a way your new place will feel like your new home. I was a Paralegal/Legal Secretary for 20+ years, I am an expert re: paper management. I use “Paper Retriever” to take all your papers to be shredded. No human hands ever touch any paper.

I am in the process of relocating to Oklahoma. Moving from my home of over 18 years. During this time I have accumulated a collection of items. The job of packing everything myself was overwhelming to say the least. I hardly knew where to start. I found Karen on Thumbtack and decided to give her a try. Best idea I could of had. Karen’s motor never stops running. Her organization skills are significant. Karen has been doing a great job. In fact, if I had just got out of her way and not “helped” by packing some of the boxes myself, things would have gone smoother, better organized (most certainly), and probably faster. Highly recommend. Would hire again.

Karen brought great ideas and organization skills and took charge with a positive, non judging attitude, on projects that had seemed overwhelming. We started with the laundry room and I was so happy with the results I asked her to help with 3 other rooms. She went the extra mile in her efforts and in scheduling my projects. I would highly recommend Karen’s “can do” attitude if you need to get your home, or other area, back on track.I look forward to working with Karen on my office space next.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $50 for a One Day Project, If we decide to do more, then I discount my hourly rate to $45. When my Assistant works with me, her rate is $25/hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss your project. I’ll advise you of my Basic Organization Ideas, the approximate time it will take to complete it and the price options. Then, we agree on a work schedule to get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been told over and over that organizing is my "Gift". Life experience! I have been organizing all of my life.
