FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always going to be cheaper than a company. I have worked for companies, they send me to tutor your child for $100/hr but I see less than half and you never even meet someone from the company. I try to keep my prices reasonable so that I can run 2 hour sessions for SAT/ACT because that promises they are getting in the practice they need. If you are going to have me as your tutor either way, why not skip over the middle man and hire me directly for less? If companies also hire and send me for these subjects I am clearly qualified to be tutoring.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to introduce myself, get to know the students needs, what parents are looking for, and such. When I am with the student I gauge their expectations and try to set goals higher than they initially intend. I then set up a timeline or process that we will follow together in order to ensure success. I follow up with parents to let them know our goals and plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Miami (2017), M.B.A from Nova Southeastern in Management (2018), and will be pursuing Pharmacy school at UF having scored in the 96th percentile of the PCAT and having my pick of the litter of pharmacy schools.
