Introduction: I just recently moved to the area from NY. I always brought something new to the table with the different certifications (including nutrition) that I have. I make working out a fun activity instead of a job someone thinks they have to do. I have trained people with health/medical concerns as well as athletes looking for something different. People go into training afraid that they can't do something. I love seeing the reaction on their face when I show them they can.

I started training with John when I was at a zero fitness level. I was afraid of trainers because I was really starting from square one and I didn’t want to be judged or pushed so hard I would give up. John has the perfect combination of knowledge, motivation and understanding for clients at all fitness levels. He was able to assess my level and my goals and slowly get me there. I am one who hates exercise but I looked forward to our sessions because I knew I was getting in better shape and taking care of my health but I enjoyed his company and he was motivating and supportive. Even on days when I felt I couldn’t do something he held me accountable and motivated me to push beyond what I thought I could do. He is fantastic at varying the workouts to keep things fresh and interesting. I highly recommend him as a trainer.

John is a fantastic trainer with a great deal of knowledge. As a physician, I can say that I am really impressed with his understanding of anatomy and nutrition. He is a very insightful and thoughtful trainer who keeps your fitness goals uppermost in his mind. He seeks feedback often to make sure that you are happy with the regimen he has devised. He develops interesting exercises and explains which muscle groups are being trained. He is a very supportive trainer and he works with you to make sure that you stay on track!

I was a client of John's from March 2013 - March 2018... We worked out in the gym, in my home, and at the local track. His ability to keep me focused, positive and motivated was the key to my success. I saw tremendous progress in strength, balance and weight maintenance. My biggest obstacle is often in my head and John's patience and positive motivation helped me move forward at a steady pace. I would still be training with him today, but the commute from NY to South Carolina is brutal...LOL

John is a fantastic trainer. He is so knowledgeable about the body and it’s abilities and responsiveness. I had very specific goals and his training program for me was spot on. He was also extremely helpful whenever I had any injuries from my other activities. His training sessions were always fresh and interesting and challenged my muscles so my development wouldn’t plateau. He made the time fly by and the results were great! Highly recommended!
