FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
60-minute sessions (which I prefer) are $60 and 30-minute sessions are $40. I can either travel to you which I do have the equipment necessary for (Resistance bands, weights, medicine balls, sliders, etc) OR you can travel to the gym I work at Fyzical Fitness.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Due to working mainly at a Physical Therapy center as well as a gym, the first question I ask is if the client has any previous or current injuries that can prevent them from any type of exercises or movements. As a Personal Trainer, my first concern is safety. I have worked and still work with clients with herniated disc, scoliosis, frozen shoulder, torn rotator cuffs, arthritis in the lower back, knee replacements, tennis elbow, Parkinson's disease and so on. I am very experienced working around various injuries and will customize a program in order to reduce symptoms of your previous or current injuries. Secondly, I will ask what your goals are. Knowing your goals will make it that much easier to design a program that will best suite your needs! Whether it would be to lose weight, gain muscle, tone up, or even just improving your overall quality of life, I will design a program for YOUR goals!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On May 1st, 2016 I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. With this degree I am certified for one-on-one personal training as well as group fitness classes. From my time spent at FGCU I have learned all about the anatomy and physiology of the human body, what exercises to avoid with certain injuries, how to correctly design a program based on an individual's goals, and quite a bit nutritional advise. I am currently working on my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) at the moment as well.
