Billie Hara Sharp let me chose a photo from a collection several years ago, and it has been hanging in my home every since. What is it? Two very happy hippopotami in a pool, loving every drop of water that poured, splashed and dripped on them. Ms. Sharp has an utterly amazing eye for photography--be it portrait, wildlife, architecture or what have you. Her work is always distinctive, always excellent.Jun 30, 2016
Billie Hara Sharp is first rate! She takes great care with the lighting and setup, then uses top software to size or frame the photo to get the best result. She will answer all questions. And great sense of humor, too. I recommend Billie and Sharp Photography to anyone. Her Phone: 682-240-2345Feb 7, 2019Verified
Billie was great to work with. I found Sharp Photography on such a short notice that it was a blessing. I really liked all the photos she took for our maternity shoot. Thanks!!Jan 4, 2019Verified
Billie did a great job taking my photos. It was 103 degrees on the day we scheduled the session. I would refer her to my friends.Jul 8, 2018Verified

Thank you, Jana! Working with your family was so much fun. It is wonderful to see a family with grown kids/spouses having so much fun together. That says volumes about your all. :-) Let me know if I can help you in the future. --Billie
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Prices are dependent on a whole host of factors: time frame of photo shoot (today? next month?), the numbers of people being photographed (solo? large family with 30 people?), the numbers of finished shots you want and how quickly you want them. Lastly, my travel time can be a factor (but isn't always). Here are some base prices to give you an idea of my charges: --Event photography: start at $100 per hour --Headshots: start at $150 a session (4 finished images) --Corporate Headshots: Contact for a quote as group discounts should certainly apply --Family/Senior Portraits: $500 --Commercial Work: Contact for quote
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We like to spend time getting to know each other. With some personal knowledge, we feel we can elicit more intimate and real photographs. We listen to our clients. We learn what you want, why you want it, and what we can do to produce this for you. When at all possible, we like to scout a specific location BEFORE the shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have been photographing people, places, and things for over 20 years. This has been a learn-by-the-seat-of-the-pants photography education. However, we are both college educated, just in fields other than photography. I stay abreast of current trends in the industry by taking CreativeLive photography courses, Adobe Photoshop classes, and other local courses offered by area photographers and camera stores.
