Tom seems like a good guy. However, my complaint is regarding him dropping me 2 months after signing a contract. I understand he is overwhelmed, but should have planned better and not accepted a new client when he is not able to support as opposed to dropping a client 2 months after signing the contract. Can’t comment on his work, but this does reflect poorly of his planning, professionalism and forward thinking ability - all of which are vital for a property manager. I explained my position via email, not sure why a review was necessary at this point. We never did any work together. Got bids for items that needed to be done for you, didn’t hear from you over 2 months. The contractor that bid the work passed away unexpectedly. Could have provided multiple other solutions. This review doesn’t reflect anything in regards to how we do business. I am out of state investor me with multiple properties and have been working with True Gaurd Property management (formerly Tom's property management) for the last 3 + years. Tom's team has done an excellent service for getting the right tenants, scheduling repair services in short amount of time for the best price, crediting monthly rents in a timely fashion, performing annual inspections for the properties and responding to my questions/emails usually with a response time of less than 4 hours (not 24 hours!).
