Occupational Therapy is a health profession that uses activities to help those who may have difficulties with motor coordination and/or sensory issues. MLS Therapy Associates is a specialized offering for children from infants to adolescent ages to help when a child has difficulty with issues that affect sensory, attention, focus, gross/fine motor skills, learning and behavior. In additional, our services cover adult and senior care where physical limitations require adaptive capabilities in the home environment. ​ Licensed Occupational Therapists use recognized and accepted OT activities to help children improve problematic areas which in turn helps the child or adult to improve their skills in attention, focus, sensory, gross and fine motor skills, learning and socialization. The OT/PT does not use a cookie-cutter approach, as each client is unique to us. There is a strong belief at MLS Therapy Associates in using standardized evaluations to better understand all the issues that may be problematic for the child or the adult patient. Many facilities use their own in-house testing and some use only screening tools, but we believe this can short-change the identification process. Using a comprehensive evaluation process is not always the least expensive or time saving method but we feel our long-standing experience, education, and desire to do what is best for each and every child is the “just right” approach. MLS Therapy Associates focuses on home based services providing Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy in the Brentwood, Franklin and Nolensville and the surrounding Area. ​ Our clients Include children, young adults and older adults who require services in a home-based environment. Other clients are people like you and I that require help recovering from traumatic injuries, physical setbacks, or overuse from sport activities.We specialize in bringing treatment services onsite within your home. ​ We understand that when you are injured or recovering from a surgical procedure your primary focus is getting well. We are here to make that transition as smooth as possible. We are a concierge service and expect payment at time of treatment, however, we can work with you to ensure you have the correct documentation to present to your insurance company..
