Introduction: I have been teaching piano in the area since 2009. I hold B.A in Music at the University of Mary Washington and also hold a M.M in Piano Pedagogy at George Mason University. I am a very advanced pianist and can teach varieties of ages and a levels. I'm a member of MTNA. I enjoy teaching piano to children but also adult welcome too. I have a Yamaha Grand and a Steinway Grand Piano.

I wish I could choose more than options for highlights because Hiroko deserves 5 stars in all categories. Had I not moved from the area, I don't think she would have ever been able to get rid of me.

Hiroko was the first piano teacher for our daughter who just turned six. I was a little nervous as my daughter can be very shy but Hiroko was wonderful with her and I felt like she got a lot out of just one lesson. She is a wonderful teacher who has a passion for teaching others!

Hiroko teaches beginning piano to my daughters (4 and 6). She is a patient and caring teacher. They have progressed very nicely since starting with her. She also does a good job of checking in with me and adjusting the pace/difficulty of the lessons to keep the kids challenged but not frustrated.
