We moved into our original home in 2005 when contracts that were submitted requesting a home inspection were never accepted. 11 years later, we need to sell so we had Kevin Taylor conduct a pre-sales home inspection. Of the many things he found (an indication of his thorough and comprehensive inspection), we chose to only fix a few of the items. Our buyers' home inspector from an established firm, didn't find half of the things that Kevin found that we chose not to fix.
We also hired Kevin for the inspection of our new home. Because of his methodical processes, we ended up with a new furnace and more than $5K in seller concessions, far above the repair costs of the issues Kevin found.
Kevin is very knoweldable about all things plumbing, electrical, architectural, HVAC, yard drainage, roofing, chimney, and basically anything you would need to know. Above all of that, he knows what issues will positively and negatively impact an appraisal...a huge issue when trying to get the most money out of your home.
Personal referrals for home-related services are generally the best...and we would recommend Kevin Taylor Home Inspections for all pre-sale, post-sale home inspections. You'll make your money back in spades, whether you are buying or selling a home.

Very professional and thorough. My husband and I were very pleased in Mr. Taylor's attention to detail, his expertise and appreciated his dedication to ensuring the home inspection was done in a timely manner. Mr. Taylor's did an outstanding job and gave us detailed explanations about our inspect. His services were very reasonable and beyond met our expectations. Would highly recommend.

Kevin arrived promptly, and walked through our potential new house explaining everything that he was looking for. He made a couple recommendations for repairs, commented on what items he felt were in very good condition and sent us a copy of his report, with photos very very quickly. We also received a copy of our water testing within days. He was very thorough and I would/will recommend him to any friends/family who need an inspection done. Great job and very pleased customer here!
