FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard sitting fee for an on-location portrait session for 1 hour with one person or a couple is $150. Groups and longer sessions, please add $50 per additional hour. This includes travel, processing, and digital proofs for your review and selection. Images you select will go through retouching and made available to you on professional photo printing website, where you may share the link for viewing, and order prints from a professional lab, shipped directly to you. Alternatively, you may choose to purchase a CD with all final prints in both high-resolution format with rights for printing, and low-resoulution for sharing on the web, for $100. This price applies to portrait sessions only. Weddings and special projects pricing negotiated separately.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Art Institute of Seattle and studied Photography for 18 months.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently created custom personalized 16x20 poster boards for the senior gifts for 20 varsity football players at our local high school. I personally shot action photos of the team during several games, then a portrait of each of them in their uniform. I combined each players images with graphics to create a poster that is exciting and captures some of the highlights of their last season. It took me approximately 60 working hours to produce all 20 posters.
