Asked for a trainer to push me to my potential and thats exactly what i am getting.Feb 8, 2019
I appreciated the solid planning and documentation of progress/routines. I still refer back to them when I go to the gym and now feel like I have an actual foundation to know what I'm doing.Oct 4, 2018
I approached Marius about taking on my teenage son as a client. I'd known Marius before this, and knew that his personality was a complete match for my son. Teenagers can be full of excuses and, let's be frank, laziness. At times, so can we as adults. But I needed someone to encourage that teenager to get off the couch, and provide some "Yes, you can do this," and that was Marius. Then, after a couple of weeks, when my son started seeing and feeling progress, Marius increased the workload. But by then, my son KNEW he could do it, and now he's catching up to me! What I like most, is that Marius tells you what you need to hear. This is not always what you want to hear, but if you're paying a trainer to help you improve, you've got to check that ego at the door and listen... and then DO the work. Marius got my teenager off the couch and away from the video games; and now that teenager loves his gym time. That was never something that I've been able to do!Sep 28, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is based on an hourly rate. If you opt for weekly or monthly billing, I include diet programming at no additional cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a new client reaches out, I like to discuss their goals and get to know them and their lifestyle. I work with the client to set attainable yet challenging goals in a time frame. Typically, the consult is done either in-home or at another location, client's preference. Following the consultation, I assess the client's strengths and weaknesses in the gym with a full body workout. From there, we begin training and measure progress towards the client's goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have formal and informal education. I am NCCA certified and I am constantly learning, even on new clients. I love to research new and innovative training methods, skipping fads and trends that take away from results. I have learned from my own training through trial and error, learning now my body works and adjusting as necessary. Thus, I am able to customize a plan to the client's specific needs. No one plan is like another.
