About this pro
We help more people with tax problems in a month than most CPA firms handle in a year. We have specialized programs to help resolve tax problems, including the same penalty and interest calculator the IRS uses. We have been very successful at helping people remove penalties and interest, reduce the amounts they owe, file past due returns, and get them set up on a plan to get these issues behind them. I enjoy helping people to sleep better knowing that their problems are being resolved, and they do not have to do it alone.

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer fixed fee pricing on most of our services. Each clients situation is different, so it's not easy to quote a fee until we know more about each person's situation. Once we do, we try to provide the most accurate quote based on the project and are willing to provide a payment plan to help ease the financial burden if necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our first step is to try and assess the situation for each client. This often involves getting a power of attorney for the IRS, and then accessing the clients file to determine if there are any missing returns, past due balances, and possible penalty abatements. We then try to determine the best course of action and what options are available to help resolve a client's account with the IRS. This is all part of our Transcript Investigation and Analysis phase.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's degree, some Master's courses, and a CPA license. Additionally, I have to take 40 hours of continuing education each year to maintain my license, and I often exceed that. This past year, I spent over 40 hours learning about tax problems and the best ways to resolve them.
