Introduction: Hi, My Name is Shannon Kirkpatrick, and I recently moved to Warren County VA area. I have Shown, Worked with and just been around horses for 25 years. I ride both English and Western. I also have been apart of horse 4-H both in Maryland and Southern VA, as well as horse rescue groups in Southern VA and Maryland. Currently I am only teaching lesson on my down time which is Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 8 PM, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 7 PM. I am taking children as young as 4 years old and well you are never to old to ride. I am willing to travel with 50 miles from my home in Front Royal, VA to teach you and your best friend. Or I have three lovely horses that will be happy to be your partner for your lesson. I can do an hour or 30 minutes in my home as well as group lesson. I can do private lesson or group lesson for travel client but it will be an hour.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally new clients lesson are over an hours, but only charged for the hour. We do ground basic, grooming, discussing what your goals are, watch you ride if you have experience, asking you to do basic transitions and circle, for my first timer we go for a trail ride. We end the lesson with horsey treats and grooming and game plan on how to reach your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years horse experience. Working with Parelli trainer in Maryland.
