About this pro
I am passionate about healing arts and have practiced massage for most of my life. I combine a natural intuition and superior touch sensitivity in order to pinpoint specific trouble areas, and apply just the right amount of pressure consistently. I believe trust is necessary between client and therapist in order to achieve deep relaxation and healing on the table. I take care to tune in closely to ensure that I never overstep the boundary of therapeutic pain, therefore building and maintaining that trust. My vast well of compassion is what drove me to seek out a career in the healing arts. More than just relief of physical tensions, I see that many people could use a dose of healthy, platonic affection and touch. In today's society, though physical closeness is easy to come by, love and meaningful closeness seems to be much harder to find. I am blessed with the ability to make others feel valued and loved. I genuinely desire to bring about the most robust healing experience possible for each person I get the privilege to work with, and that intention is tangible in the quality of my touch. I gain great fulfillment through this healing practice, and am very grateful to be able to help others, doing what I was made to do. So go ahead, elevate your expectations. Where do I begin? Everything but the laundry. I feel that bodywork and healing is what I truly was made to do. Being hypersensitive, compassionate, and empathetic didn't always feel like a gift, but after studying massage and beginning my professional practice, I see that each of these traits has a healing purpose, and I feel like I belong somewhere. I have always loved helping others. There's nothing like that look on someone's face after you've relieved them of the neck ache they've been bothered by for weeks, or when you gradually see the demeanor of an elderly client change from lethargic and pained to hopeful, grateful, and peaceful.
