At Big Tex, we know that moving can be a truly stressful event for you and your family. Big Tex is an experienced locally-owned moving company in Dallas that will handle your move with care. All of our movers are clean-cut, athletic and well-trained movers who will work hard to make your move stress-free. We are professionals with large box trucks (26 feet), box dollies, appliance dollies, furniture pads and an assortment of tools. Best of all, we charge a flat hourly rate for our Dallas moving services. I have had my fair share of horrible moving experiences and expected nothing less than that when I hired Big Tex Movers to move me from Burleson to downtown Dallas TX. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was from the moment I started speaking with the owner, Andy, via Thumbtack. He was extremely professional, pleasant, and straight forward. It seemed too good to be true! Then when my movers arrived, I met Patrick and Christopher and they did an amazing job! They were hustling the entire time. Running from the truck to the pick up, never stopping, never sluggish. They were well groomed, polite and very kind. They took extra care of my belongings, like they belonged to them. These hard working gentleman did this for 5 hours straight! None of my furniture or belongings were damaged and there were no hidden fees. What I was quoted by Andy was exactly what I paid. They charged by the minute! That is unheard of in their industry. I highly recommend this moving company if you're in need of an honest, hard-working moving company. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone in the Dallas area. Thank you so much Andy, Patrick and Christopher!!! Y'all made my move so easy! A++++++++++++++++++

If you are looking for a mover then look no further. This is the one to use! They were prompt, courteous, clean, hardworking and very careful with all the furniture they moved. And the price was great considering all that they moved. I will use them again and will recommend to all my friends.

Excellent move, and I've done many! Kurt and Jay were the fastest movers I have ever had in over 40 years of moving. We loaded quickly in dry weather, but arrived at our destination with flash flood rains for the remainder of the move. They were very careful with my daughter's furniture and responsive to any request. Great value and I would highly recommend Big Tex Moving. Thanks Kurt and Jay, you are the best!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat hourly rate that starts when we start working and stops when we stop working. We also pro-rate down to the minute and never round up! $100/Hour (26' Truck) We will send two of our movers to load and haul your goods to their new location. Full and partial packing, loading, and unloading services available. $30/Hour Additional Mover Hire an additional Big Tex mover to help you pack and load your belongings for a swifter experience.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's all about transparency. We keep our pricing up front and do not want anything hidden from our customers. The process of moving is stressful and we understand that. So we work hard to make moving day as stress free as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in exercise science and 8 years of moving experience. I also own the #1 ranked moving company in Kentucky so you know you are hiring the best!
