- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons for 3-4yr. olds are $30 for 30 minutes All other lessons are $45 for 60 min. ( includes horsemanship with 30 min riding time)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like them to come see our facility. We meet each other and talk about goals. I give them a menu of what we have to offer with a price list. I let them decide if we are a match and then we typically sign them up for lessons!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands on training is the absolute BEST. I've been involved in horses since I was a child. I owned my first show horse at the age of 12. I took formal riding lessons from one of the best instructors in the Saddlebred industry. I also had my own children involved in riding lessons and showing in their childhood years thru college. My GREATEST teacher has been my husband, Jon Walker, who has been involved in training horses since 1973. We currently have 22 acres with 2 barns and an indoor arena. I took over our riding program in 2010 and have 14 lesson horses that I teach on and take care of, every day but Sunday! We have a huge success rate at all the horse shows on our circuit, in both Academy levels ( not required to own a horse) and our Show horse "Performance " levels. ( privately owned horses) .
