Pros - Jim called me few hours after I posted the add. He came and gave us a quote the next day and started with work 2 days later. - They were willing to go and pick up materials and working with us and Home Depot where we had account Cons: - 2 weeks after they were done the grout between the tiles on the floor started breaking off, we were told it is because the tiles were not put down flat. Because of that toilet is very wobbly and you can see that the sink was not installed properly causing the water to pool on one side - You can notice from photo that one cabinet was cut on the wrong side first, speaks volume to their ability to be detail oriented - Also there are two photos showing how small pieces of tiles were put in the opposite direction to the rest of the tiles, again details are not their strength - Standing shower, per recommendation of the glass door installer, needed a straight down 90 pipe to prevent the water coming out. They installed it under 45 degree. - Lastly, we had an agreement we would sand and paint. But they left pieces of floor not covered not the mention the edges where wall and floor are joining. Also, the tape at the joints of new dry wall was placed too fast. Therefore, it ended up peeling as there was air trapped between the tape and the mud. We had to have another person come in to replace all the tape and re-mud almost all walls that Jim touched during renovation - There are many other reasons for bitter feeling like asking for more money at the end, but I believe those are enough to justify my 1 star rating.Dec 2, 2018Verified

Jimmy did a great job installing new French doors that lead to our backyard. He was very thorough and very accommodating around our schedule. The work done was very high quality and the doors look great! We will definitely use Uniquely Crafted again and would certainly recommend to others.Nov 4, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't believe in across the board pricing. Its been my experience that every "project" and clients all have different results and price for there project, therefore a more personal approach that best suits everyones needs and wants can be achieved!!!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?meet and greet/phone conversation. listen to the clients needs and wants, then determine if I'm the right fit for the job. money is always important, for both parties. hopefully come to terms and begin the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?electrical degree from Michigan tech. 20 plus years electrical business. over 30 years in the skilled trades industry. Had the best training ever, working with the Amish in southern Ohio. Craftsmanship and pride in the work completed very rewarding.
